Finally some good news! I'm so glad those Thai statues are coming home after all that time. It's crazy how people thought they were doing us a favor by collecting them, when really they were just being selfish & ignorant to their history . It's awesome that the museum is taking responsibility and making things right.

I've always said that if you don't know something, it's better not to say anything . These statues should never have been gifted in the first place, but at least now they're going back where they belong. I'm so happy for Thailand & their culture . It just goes to show how far we've come with awareness & respect for cultural heritage over the years .

50 years late, right? I mean, who keeps art for that long? Back in my day, we had a saying "when you borrow something, return it". Guess some people don't play by the rules . I'm glad these Thai statues are finally coming home to Thailand though, it's about time! The museum was always a bit sketchy about their origin story too... like they were trying to hide something .
