Seeing Is Believing at Your Own Peril in 'After God'

I'm so obsessed with "After God" right now 🤯! The way the author combines polytheism with modern society is so wild 🌐. I love how Waka's character develops throughout the story - she starts off as this ordinary high schooler, but then discovers her friend's secret and has to navigate this entire world of gods 😱.

I also appreciate how the author balances dark themes with humor. It's not often that you see a manga series tackle topics like body horror and social media obsession without it feeling too heavy-handed 💀. The artwork is gorgeous, too - I mean, who wouldn't want to gaze into the eyes of a god? 😍

One thing that really stands out to me is how the story explores the idea of ulterior motives in relationships. Everyone's got an angle, whether it's Waka trying to uncover the truth about her friend's disappearance or Tokigawa just trying to advance his own career 📚.

Anyway, if you're looking for a manga series that's thought-provoking and just plain fun, "After God" is the way to go! Trust me, you won't regret it 😊.
