Ugh I mean, can't we just get the news without all the extras? Like, if I want emails from charities, I'll sign up for them separately . And what's with the "plus a few extra tidbits" thing? Sounds like they're trying to upsell me . Anyway, football is football, right? Can't we just focus on the beautiful game without all the ads and stuff? I mean, I get it, it's gotta pay the bills, but can't The Guardian do that without being so pushy?
Omg I just got out of bed and I'm so excited for the football season but wait what's with all these emails?! Can't they just make it easy to sign up without asking me like 5 times? And yeah okay I get it, charities and ads are cool I guess... but can't they use those reCaptcha thingies on their website too? I don't want to have to click all the time lol Anyway, is The Guardian's newsletter going to cover the new football season already?! I need my fix ASAP
I'm not sure about these newsletters, I mean, I get why they're there, but sometimes it feels like you're getting bombarded with info that's not even football-related . I'd love a more focused feed on my daily email. The idea of partner brands sending me stuff too kinda defeats the purpose, right? Maybe a way to opt out of those or just get a basic newsletter without all the extras?
I got a weird vibe about this football newsletter thingy . I mean, why do they need to share your data with other brands? Are they trying to sell you some dodgy merchandise or something? And what's up with Google reCaptcha? Sounds like they're trying to monitor everything we click on... Is it just a coincidence that they've got this fancy algorithm to keep things "secure"? I'm not saying they're up to no good, but something don't feel right about signing up for their newsletter. Maybe it's just my conspiracy theorist brain at work, but...
