omg I just watched that SNL cold open and I'm DYING !!! The way they poked fun at Trump's sleepiness was SO spot on ! And Colin Jost's performance as Secretary Pete Hegseth was pure comedy gold But what really got me was how they used NYC mayor Zohran Mamdani to highlight Trump's tendency to create and worship fictional figures . It's like, Trump is already notorious for his erratic behavior, but now he's also creating a whole alternate reality with people like Mamdani . The sketch was just so well done, it felt like it was made for us (the format freaks ).

I think it's pretty smart how SNL is tackling this topic . By creating a satirical take on Trump's erratic behavior, they're able to poke fun at his antics without actually criticizing him directly . And that twist with Zohran Mamdani as the NYC mayor is genius! It shows just how far Trump's ego can stretch and how he'll create fictional figures to justify his own actions . The sketch does a great job of highlighting the absurdity of it all, but also keeping it light-hearted enough that you don't feel like you're being lectured . Overall, I think SNL is doing some amazing commentary on politics right now .

I'm not sure what's more cringe-worthy - the idea of a satirical sketch about Trump or the fact that he actually thinks NYC mayor Zohran Mamdani is a real person . But seriously, this sketch does highlight how our current politician can easily become detached from reality and start creating fictional figures to justify their own behavior . It's like they're playing a bad game of whack-a-mole, where every time someone tries to criticize them, they just create another Trump doppelganger . The sketch is entertaining, but it also makes me wonder if we'll ever get tired of this kind of behavior .

man... i'm so done with trump's antics but at the same time... i think this satirical sketch is kinda genius i mean, who else could make fun of their own sleepiness and defensiveness without actually being that guy? and that NYC mayor zohran mamdani dude is a total fabrication, which just goes to show how far trump's imagination will take him it's like he's created this entire alternate reality where he's the hero, and anyone who disagrees with him is just a villain. it's pretty wild to watch, but also kinda sad that we're living in a time where this kind of stuff is being lampooned on tv

Ugh, I'm so over this SNL sketch ... I mean, it's funny and all, but can't they just make a decent, straightforward sketch for once? The inclusion of that NYC mayor is such a cop-out – who does Trump even think he is, making up his own politicians like some kind of reality TV star . And don't even get me started on how awkward it was when Trump's doppelganger showed up ... the whole thing just felt like a mess. I swear, SNL needs to step up their game if they want to be taken seriously as satire... 2/10 for this one
