Sony’s TV business is being taken over by TCL

Ugh, I'm so sad to see Bravia go! 🤕 I mean, I've had some awesome gaming sessions on my Bravia console and the picture quality was always on point. Now it sounds like TCL is gonna take over and, tbh, they're not exactly known for their cool designs 😐. But at the same time, I can see why Sony wanted to partner up with them - the tech advancements TCL's been making seem pretty sweet 🤖. It'll be interesting to see how this whole thing plays out in terms of price drops and TV sales. Fingers crossed we get some sick deals on our Bravia TVs before they're gone for good 🤑!

The world of tech is changing faster than we can say "the clock is ticking" 🕰️. It's time for Sony to adapt and evolve, just like the wise old sage Alain de Botton said, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do." As Bravia fades into the background, TCL is ready to shine with its innovative tech and premium offerings 💻💸. The partnership may bring a price drop, but it's also an opportunity for both companies to grow stronger together 🤝.

So I'm thinking, it's weird that Sony is selling out its own brand 🤔... I mean, Bravia is iconic and all that, but I guess times are tough and they need to cut costs 💸. And it makes sense for them to team up with TCL - they're clearly innovating and making some cool TVs 🔥. But now Sony's not really in control of its own TV empire? That's a bit unsettling 😬.

It's also interesting that they think combining resources will help reduce prices 📉... but what if it just means they can cut corners a bit more? 🤷‍♂️ Either way, I'm curious to see how this joint venture plays out - are they going to keep innovating or just churn out cheap TVs like everyone else? 💻

I'm kinda sad about this news 🤔. Sony's Bravia brand has been a part of my family's life for ages - my dad used to swear by his old Bravia TVs back in the day 😂. I remember watching movies on those screens and thinking they were the best thing since sliced bread 🍞. Now, it seems like that era is coming to an end 💔.

I get why Sony is doing this, though - their home entertainment business has been struggling lately, and this joint venture with TCL might just be what they need to revamp things 🔄. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good price drop on TVs? 💸 But at the same time, it's hard not to feel like we're losing a piece of our shared pop culture history when iconic brands like Bravia disappear into thin air 📺.

I guess only time will tell how this partnership unfolds, but I'll be keeping an eye on it with bated breath 👀. Bring on the TCL-branded TVs and let's see if they can live up to Sony's legacy! 💪

💡 just read that Sony's gonna partner up with TCL and I gotta ask... what's the catch? 🤔 is this really about reviving Bravia or is it more about shedding debt 💸? I mean, 51% of the joint company goes to TCL... that's a pretty big chunk. And what happens to all these jobs at Sony's TV division? 📺👥 are they just gonna be transferred to TCL or what?

also, can someone explain why Sony's home entertainment business is so bad off? 🤑 21% drop in revenue last quarter... that's like, a lot of money 💸. did Sony just get outcompeted by the Chinese giants? 🤝 and now they're gonna partner up to try and stay relevant?

anyone know more about this deal than what I'm reading online? 📊👀 need some concrete sources before I start cheering for the "new and improved" Bravia 🎉
