State Street bridge repairs expected to be complete by end of February, open to traffic in March

ugh i hate being stuck in chicago traffic like seriously how many times are we gonna have to deal with construction delays on state street btw i get it the bridge is old but can't they just fix it already and what's up with the detours? clark and dearborn streets are not even that far away it's like they're trying to make our commutes worse

yaaas i'm so hyped that they're finally getting this bridge fixed!!! i remember driving through chicago last year and seeing all those detours and construction signs... it was crazy! i hope they can get everything done on time now that the end of feb is near can't wait to see that bridge open again, so much safer for everyone!
