I'm still in awe of how far TV's come since I was a kid πŸ“Ί. Growing up, my fave show was Friends - who can forget Ross's 'we were on a break' face πŸ˜‚? But for me, it's all about the nostalgic value - watching old episodes with my family during holidays always brings back so many good memories πŸŽ„. I'm also super grateful for shows like The Office and Parks & Rec, which made me LOL every time I watched them 🀣. What about you guys? Got any epic TV moments that'll be etched in your mind forever?

I'm like totally obsessed with Friends 🀩 it's like, my fave show of all time! I mean, who wouldn't love Ross's geeky antics or Monica's cleanliness obsession? But for me, the most memorable moment is when Chandler says "Could I BE any more...?" that line just cracks me up every time πŸ˜‚. It's like, a cultural reference point now and I feel so nostalgic thinking about it. I wish I could go back in time and watch it all again with my school friends over pizza πŸ•πŸ“Ί.

πŸ“Ί I'm all about celebrating 100 years of telly, but can't help feeling that this list is gonna be super biased towards classic American shows πŸ€”. What about the UK's own beloved series like Only Fools and Horses or EastEnders? Don't get me wrong, those are iconic moments in British pop culture, but I'm guessing they won't make the cut 😊.

Also, have you guys considered including some newer shows that have really changed the game? Like The Crown or Succession? They're pushing boundaries and breaking rules, but might not be as "classic" in the eyes of nostalgic viewers πŸ‘‘. Still, I'm all for hearing your favorite TV moments – it's gonna be a great read! πŸ“š

πŸ“Ί I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that TVs have been around for 100 years! It's crazy to think about how much our viewing habits have changed over time, from watching grainy black and white shows to binge-watching entire seasons in one sitting on our massive 4K screens 🀯. What's amazing is how TV has evolved to tell such diverse stories and create memorable characters that stick with us long after the credits roll. For me, it's gotta be the iconic finale of Friends - who can forget Ross and Rachel's drunken wedding? πŸ˜‚πŸ‘° It's a moment that never gets old, and I'm excited to see what others have shared about their favorite TV moments! πŸ“š

I don’t usually comment but... I think what’s missing is some love for the old-school cartoons πŸ“ΊπŸ‘€ like Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry. Those were the ones that kept me entertained as a kid, and they still hold up today. Like who can forget Bugs Bunny's catchphrase "What's up doc?" πŸ˜‚ or Tom's never-ending chase after Jerry? Those were more than just cartoons – they were a part of my childhood. I feel like we've lost some of that magic with all the new animation styles coming out nowadays.

I'm still nostalgic for when I used to watch The Office 🀣! That one episode where Michael Scott (played by Steve Carell) accidentally burns down the office building was literally my favorite part of the entire series! It was just so ridiculous and hilarious at the same time πŸ˜‚. And it's crazy to think that's over 15 years ago now! I've lost count of how many times I've rewatched that episode, it never gets old πŸ“Ί.

I also love thinking about how TV has evolved over the years, from those classic sitcoms to more complex and gritty dramas like Breaking Bad. It's amazing how much TV has become a part of our lives, right? 🀝

What about you guys? Got any favorite TV moments that still make you laugh or cry to this day?

OMG u guys I had the craziest dream last nite that I was on I Love Lucy's set 🀣🎬 my grandma used to watch that all the time when I was a kid and I swear it felt so real! I even remember her telling me about how Ethel Mertz would always get into these wacky misadventures πŸ€ͺ and I'm like "what's up with that?" lol anyway it made me think of my own crazy aunt who's always getting us into trouble πŸ˜‚πŸ’β€β™€οΈ has anyone else ever had a favorite TV character that just felt so real? πŸ€”

omg i just found out about this thread from my friend lol how did i miss it?! anyway, for me it's gotta be that one episode of The Office where Michael Scott had the infamous "dundies" awards 🀣 still gives me the shivers! who else remembers that?

OMG just saw that TV is turning 100 πŸ€―πŸ“Ί can't believe how much it's evolved from old black & white vids πŸ“½οΈ my fave show has gotta be "Friends" that finale was EVERYTHING πŸ˜‚ who else loved Ross's hair in the 90s πŸ’‡β€β™‚οΈ? what's your go-to TV comfort show to binge-watch on a lazy Sunday? πŸ€—

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how far TV's come in the past 100 years πŸ“Ί. I mean, from black and white to streaming services that can fit an entire season of a show on one tiny device... it's crazy! 🀯 But you know what's even crazier? How we're still obsessing over the same kinda shows we were watching 20-30 years ago.

I think back to my childhood and watchin' The Simpsons with my family - it was just the best, man πŸ˜‚. And then as I got older, I started gettin' into more serious stuff like The Sopranos and Breaking Bad... those shows really made me think about the world and its complexities.

I'd love to hear what other people's favorite TV moments are! What's stuck with you all these years? Was it a character, a plot twist, or just a particular show that became a part of your life πŸ€”.
