. In hindsight, I think Jack Black and Kyle Gass were both unfairly scrutinized by fans and critics alike. While I can understand why the joke might have been perceived as insensitive, I don't think it was necessarily malicious. The band's willingness to "hash it out" and move forward is a testament to their maturity and commitment to each other 
. It's refreshing to see them acknowledge their mistakes and grow from the experience 
. As for the online trolls, I'm appalled by the vitriol and lack of empathy that was directed at Kyle Gass's 95-year-old mother
