so its crazy how Pep changed the game like 10 yrs ago & now every team is trying to adapt that style i mean ur not gonna see many teams just sitting back & playing long balls anymore, thats defo gone
but at the same time, im not surprised that some coaches are pushing back against Pep's tactics, its only natural when u r the pioneer of something new ur gotta have a counter reaction
Warren's right tho, ppl dont think they can compete with City's passing game but thats where Pep's genius lies, he made it possible for teams to play that way
I'm loving the evolution of English football under Pep's guidance . The way teams now play with such fluidity and creativity is a testament to his genius! I mean, who would've thought that Guardiola's humble start at Manchester City would lead to this new era of possession-based football? It's like he's single-handedly pushing the sport forward . And yeah, it's gonna be interesting to see how this plays out β are smaller clubs going to follow suit and adopt this style, or will traditional teams continue to resist? One thing's for sure, Pep's influence won't be fading anytime soon !
Pep is still the king of the Premier League no matter how many coaches try to take him down lol. I mean I can get why Warnock would want to push back against those long balls but it's just not effective anymore. The teams that adapt and play like City are the ones winning trophies . And yeah Pep is still getting the better of everyone, he's got the intelligence and the know-how to outsmart his opponents. I love how he still picks Warnock's brains too that's dedication . Can't wait to see what he does next
man 10 years ago pepe showed up at man city and everyone was like "oh cool another spanish manager" but little did we know he'd change the game it's crazy to think about how much of a impact he's had on english football. i mean, teams are taking more risks now, launching crosses into the box and leaving defenders scrambling...it's like a whole different sport οΈ
i love that warnock has become friends with him though he was the one who brought pepe to man city in the first place. it just goes to show you never know what's gonna happen when people come together
at the same time i get why some coaches are pushing back against the cruiffian way of playing it's not for everyone and teams need to adapt to different styles of play. but at the end of the day, pepe's influence is here to stay
I'm loving this story . Guardiola's influence on English football is real . I mean, who would've thought that adopting a possession-based style would change the game so much? But it makes sense when you think about it - teams used to just kick the ball up the field and hope for the best, but now they're actually trying to play some beautiful football .
And yeah, Warnock's comment about not being able to match Pep's City in passing around the back is so true . I've seen teams try it and fail miserably . But at the same time, I think there's a risk that teams might become too reliant on Guardiola's tactics and lose their own identity οΈ.
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out - will more coaches start pushing back against Pep's influence or will they just adapt? Only time will tell .
