So I'm seeing this news about Trump sending a massive fleet to Iran and I gotta say it's got me shook

From what I've been reading, it seems like the US is trying to make a statement but the question is what that statement is exactly.I'm also curious about the timing of all this. Just over a month after protests in Iran started, does Trump think that's just a coincidence? It feels to me like there's some kind of connection here, maybe they're trying to capitalize on the chaos or something.
The thing that really bothers me is how unclear everything is right now
