It's clear that ICE is trying to cover their tracks and Trump is just riding the coattails of a bad situation.
And meanwhile, the governor is calling for decency and humane treatment, but it feels like an afterthought. We need real change here, not just empty words. just checked the latest on this Alex Pretti case... 37 yrs old nurse shot by feds in Minneapolis. So sad. Anyway, did you know that in 2020, 6.8 million Americans were detained by immigration authorities? That's a crazy number! 
And btw, according to Amnesty Int'l, since 2017, there have been over 400 reported deaths of migrants and asylum seekers in US custody. 
I mean, what's the point of even having a system if ppl are just gonna sit there for that long? 
But I wonder how much of it is actually being used to keep ppl safe like Alex Pretti?

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is right, though - we need humane immigration control, not just throwing guns at people. And what's with all these arrests of protesters? It's like they're trying to silence us or something!
