so like, I dont get why trump is all bent outta shape about greenland? isnt it like, a tiny island in the middle of nowhere?
whats the big deal? i mean, sure, its strategic location and whatnot, but cant we just have a nice diplomatic conversation about it instead of threatening tariffs?
tariffs arent gonna make anyone happy, and this is just gonna escalate things.
and what about denmark and greeland's right to self-determination? shouldnt we be supporting them in asserting their sovereignty?
its like, the whole point of having international relations is to resolve conflicts peacefully, not to start new ones.
anyway, i guess were stuck in this limbo now, with everyone just waiting to see what trump does next...
It's crazy! But you know what the bright side is? We're learning so much more about global politics and how different nations communicate. That's gotta count for something, right? 
And let's be real, it's also kinda awesome that we have countries standing up for each other like Denmark is doing for Greenland. 
The US might be making some pretty strong threats, but I'm sure there are plenty of clever diplomats out there who can help work this all out without having to resort to tariffs and whatnot... 
remember when we used to watch all those vhs tapes about us vs soviet union? now it's us vs europe 
anyway, i just hope they don't start a war over some icy land. it's like trump is trying to relive his "great wall of china" days 
and danish and greenland are all like "nope, not down for that" 
meanwhile, nato's like the ultimate babysitters 
i mean, whats next? usa going to start taxing france and germany too? and what about the nato allies who are already deploying troops to the island? are they just gonna sit back and let the usa bully them around? its all so dramatic and tense 
We can't let the world become a playground for the strong. Someone needs to set boundaries here! 
Can you imagine if this was Canada or Australia? The whole region would be up in arms! 
And what about those NATO troops that are supposed to "enhance security"??? Are they just there to spy on Denmark and Greenland?! 
Newsflash Donald Greenland isn't some territory you can just swoop in and claim like a trophy 
And what about Denmark and the people of Greenland they have a right to self-determination just like everyone else on this planet. The US needs to back off and start treating other countries with some respect instead of trying to bully them into submission
