Two masked men are being hunted by authorities in north Houston after a deadly robbery at a popular taco truck left one man dead. Surveillance footage obtained by local news outlet ABC13 shows the two suspects, who wore masks to conceal their identities, attacking the victim in broad daylight.
According to eyewitnesses and the police, the taco truck's owner had closed up shop around 11:30pm on Thursday when he was ambushed by both men. The suspect who opened fire through a window continued shooting until the other suspect took out the money from the cash register.
Eyewitnesses described the victim as an "amazing person" who would go out of his way to help others, and they were shocked that such a good-hearted individual had fallen victim to such senseless violence. The police are urging anyone with information about the suspects to come forward.
The investigation is ongoing, but authorities are warning potential witnesses not to take matters into their own hands. "Just turn yourself in, it's not worth it, just confess to everything, it's not right to do that," said a police spokesperson.

I'm telling you, something fishy went down here 
. Those two masked men just happen to be lurking around a taco truck at night? What's the probability of that? It seems too convenient. And the fact that they were both armed and ready to go... I don't buy it. Maybe this was no random robbery, but something more calculated. The police are urging people not to take matters into their own hands, which is code for 'we're hiding something'. And what's up with the guy who opened fire? He just happens to be the one who started shooting first? It's almost like he wanted to draw attention away from his partner... 
I mean, who doesn't love a good taco truck story? But seriously, it's crazy that these guys thought they could just rob someone and get away with it. Like, what's the plan B when you're trying to blend in with a mask? 
You'd think they'd at least try to look cool or intimidating while committing the crime... just imagine one of them tripping on their own feet and face-planting into a salsa stand

The taco truck owner was such a good guy too, always willing to lend a hand... it just doesn't seem right that he had to lose his life like this.

According to the FBI's Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program, there were over 13,000 reported robberies in Texas alone last year. That's a lot of crime going down, right? 
It's mostly young black males who are involved in these types of incidents. Now, I'm not trying to stereotype or anything, but it's interesting to note that 72% of homicides in H-Town are committed by men under the age of 25.

anyway, hopefully the cops catch them soon and bring some justice to the family of the victim. this city is supposed to be safe, especially in broad daylight
