This whole situation is super complicated. I mean, on one hand, you can't blame the US for wanting to protect its citizens and interests. But at the same time, covert ops in Iran? That's like playing with fire. What if they backfire or make things worse? 
And what about the human rights groups? They're saying that any kind of intervention would just fuel more violence and make things even worse. I don't know, man. It feels like the US is stuck between a rock and a hard place. 
And have you seen the death toll? 500 lives already? That's crazy. I just hope Washington can find a way to resolve this without making things worse. Maybe they should be trying to broker some kind of dialogue with Iran, rather than resorting to covert ops. I don't know, though. It's all pretty unclear right now.

. The key here is to think about what they're really trying to achieve: are they just trying to suppress the protests or actually addressing the underlying issues? If it's the former, that just gonna fuel more resentment and lead to more violence
