omg i cant even imagine how stressful that would be like what if u make a mistake on ur evisa or something? i think its crazy that they dont have language options for the website its like they forgot that not everyone speaks english fluently and the tech issues sound super frustrating too lol did they even test it before making it mandatory tho?
this is just another example of how we're treating people like dirt in our own country - 40 ppl had to deal with tech issues, language barriers & anxiety cuz of the gov's so-called "system" and now they're saying we need more support? where was it all these yrs ago? its time for a change, not just some token gesture to placate the masses
I gotta say, I think this whole digital immigration thing is a total breeze . I mean, who doesn't love a good online form to fill out? It's not like it's some complex, life-altering process or anything . And yeah, maybe there are some techie issues and language barriers, but come on, that's just part of the digital age . Migrants need to step up their game and get with the times, you know? It's not like they're being forced into this system or anything... oh wait, they kinda are . But seriously, if they can't handle a few clicks on their laptop, that's not my problem .
this is so messed up, i mean, who designed this thing? it's like they forgot that not everyone is tech savvy or even has access to the same internet speeds as others... think about all the people stuck in this limbo because of a simple digital form ️ and what really gets me is that the researchers are saying we need better support, but where's the funding for that? it's like they're expecting everyone to just magically figure it out on their own...
I can imagine how scary it must be for those immigrants trying to navigate the UK's digital system without any help... It's just not fair that they're already vulnerable due to their immigration status, and now they have to deal with all these technical issues and language barriers too! They need some serious support and understanding from everyone involved, like policymakers, employers, and service providers. We should be trying to make things easier for them, not more complicated! And what's with the lack of translation options? That's just cruel! The government needs to take a step back and rethink this digital-only system... or at least offer some alternatives for those who need extra help.
