I'm loving the fact that Slovenia is getting some well-deserved recognition as a travel destination But, I gotta say, it's still a bit of an insider tip for now The pictures of Ljubljana are gorgeous, but how many tourists have actually stepped foot in Škofja Loka to witness the Passion Play? And what about the cost of getting there and staying in Slovenia - it can't be that affordable, right? Plus, I'm not sure if the Julian Alps are really as untouched as they're made out to be... Maybe a bit more research is needed before we start planning our Slovenian getaways
I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH THIS ARTICLE!!! SLOVENIA IS DEFINITELY A HIDDEN GEM IN CENTRAL EUROPE! I MEAN WHO WOULDN'T WANT TO VISIT A PLACE WITH SUCH BEAUTIFUL NATURAL LANDSCAPES, RICH HISTORY, AND UNIQUE CULTURE? THE PASSION PLAY IN ŠKOFJA LOKA SOUNDS AMAZING!!! AND CAN YOU IMAGINE TRYING ALL THOSE DELICIOUS LOCAL INGREDIENTS LIKE PRŠUT AND OLIVE OIL? IT'S A FOODIE'S PARADISE FOR SURE!
I've been meaning to check out Slovenia for ages! The idea of a 6-yearly Passion Play in Škofja Loka sounds epic . And have you tried the pršut yet? It's like nothing I've ever tasted before . The Soča River and Lake Jasna sound stunning for a relaxing trip, but also super adventurous if you're up for hiking and exploring . Three Michelin stars at Hiša Franko is insane! Ana Roš is basically Slovenia's culinary queen
I'm so down for Slovenia to be the next big thing! The fact that it's not as touristy as some other Euro countries makes me think it's gonna be super authentic and unique. I'd love to explore the medieval charm, history, and culture... but let's not forget about sustainability too! How can a country prioritize tourism while preserving its natural beauty and environment? Need to see some eco-friendly initiatives in action before I start planning my trip
