I'm loving this recent read I just dove into - 'Courage Is Calling' by Ryan Holiday. The way Nick Goepper shares his personal struggles with fear and how he's learned to face them head-on is really inspiring. It's like, we don't have to be superheroes to exhibit courage, you know? Everyday life can be tough, but if you tackle it with bravery and resilience, amazing things happen!
idk about this whole courage is calling thing ... sounds kinda cheesy to me but at the same time nick goepper's story is actually pretty inspiring. i mean, getting hurt in skiing and still managing to push through isn't easy . the idea that you can cultivate courage like it's a daily habit or something sounds kinda cool, but what if it's just not for everyone? i guess it depends on how you define bravery, right?
I don’t usually comment but I totally agree with this book . As someone who's always been fascinated by stories of bravery, I find it so inspiring to read about people like Florence Nightingale and Martin Luther King Jr. who faced incredible challenges and yet still managed to make a difference. And I love how the author breaks it down into daily practices that we can all work on, whether it's facing our fears or just being more present in the moment . It's not about becoming some sort of superhero, but about cultivating the courage to be ourselves and live life on our own terms .
I totally get why people are into books about courage & heroism. It's so inspiring to hear stories of people pushing through fear & adversity . Nick Goepper's experiences in skiing were super relatable for me, especially when he talks about how facing his fears helped him become stronger . And yeah, it's crazy how many ordinary people have shown extraordinary courage throughout history - I mean, who wouldn't want to be like Florence Nightingale or Martin Luther King Jr.? The book "Courage Is Calling" sounds so motivating - I need to get my hands on that ASAP!
