What mom says to 8-year-old son during "her time" praised

I mean, can we talk about how this clip is being shared on TikTok? Like, I get it, it's a nice story, but do we really need 2.5 million views of someone saying "get out please"? It feels like people are more interested in the mom's assertiveness than actually learning from her message 🤷‍♀️. And what's with all the praise for her not being selfish? Isn't it kinda normal to want some time for yourself after letting your kids sleep in all morning?

🤷‍♀️ like, y'all, I think this video is giving me LIFE 💪! As a parent myself, I can totally relate to the struggle of trying to get some "me time" while your little ones are still trying to figure out how to use their big kid skills 🤣. But for real, setting boundaries with kids is key and it's awesome that Morgan is owning this as a non-negotiable part of her self-care routine 🙌.

And can we talk about how refreshing it is to see parents prioritizing their own needs? Like, we're so used to putting everyone else's first (and honestly, I'm guilty of it too) but it's time for us to take care of ourselves too 💆‍♀️. I love that Morgan is modeling healthy boundary-setting for her kids and encouraging others to do the same 👩‍👧‍👦.

It's also super cool to see how this video has sparked a conversation about setting boundaries in parenting 📢. As a society, we need more of these kinds of real talk 💬 about prioritizing our own well-being so we can show up better for ourselves and those around us ❤️.

😩👏 Can you believe this? Like, I get it, she's trying to take care of herself after years of being a full-time mom, but still... 😔 I feel bad for Jax, you know? He looks so disappointed 🤕. But at the same time, Morgan's right – setting boundaries is key. It's not about being selfish (although it is important), it's about teaching her kids to respect each other's space. And if that means saying no to a snack request, then so be it! 👍💪 My only concern is what if she got emotional and lost control? That would've been a whole different story... 🤔
