Ugh I'm literally so confused about this pay-per-mile thing 
... like I get it, we need to reduce our carbon footprint and all that jazz, but can't they just make electric cars more affordable already?! 
They're already way pricier than petrol cars, now they're gonna hit us with another charge? 
It's like the government is trying to nickel and dime us into going green 
. I mean Iceland's pay-per-mile scheme didn't seem to work out so well for them... 
how do we know ours won't have the same effect?

I feel for those who are worried about this new charge, you know, switching to electric vehicles is such a big step, and an added fee might make them think twice... 
but at the same time, it's great that the UK government wants to encourage cleaner transport options. 
like, we do need to reduce our carbon footprint, right? 
so, let's hope they get it just right, you know? 
maybe it'll be a fine balance between making people feel the pinch and still making electric vehicles more accessible...
