With Brandon Nimmo Gone, What’s Next As David Stearns Renovates The Mets?

🤔 So I'm watching the Mets' moves and I gotta say, they're trying something new... but is it gonna work? 😅 They brought in Brandon Nimmo from Texas, hoping he'll make up for Marcus Semien's struggles at 2nd base. But let's be real, Semien was already kinda worn out from his injury issues. 🤕 Still, I think the real question here is if GM Stearns' strategy is on point or not 🤔 He brought in some big names like Juan Soto and Clay Holmes, but they haven't exactly wowed us so far... 18.7 wins above replacement isn't gonna cut it for a team looking to compete in the NL East 😬. We still got our fingers crossed that Edwin Diaz and Pete Alonso come back strong, but Stearns needs some more solid moves if he wants to win it all 🏆👊

🤔 I'm so over these team rebuilds... 🙄 I mean, I get it, teams wanna win, but come on! The Mets are like, whoa, they're adding some big names, but what's the actual plan? 😒 Like, do they even have a clear vision for this season?! 💡 They've got a solid defense and pitching staff now, but can they actually make it work?!

I'm not buying the "we're still far from our goals" thing... 🙄 That's just cop out talk. The guy making the trades gotta have some kind of strategy, right? 🤓 It feels like Stearns is just throwing a bunch of players at the wall and seeing what sticks... 🤯 Not my idea of good management.

What really gets me is that the team is still holding onto Edwin Diaz and Pete Alonso... 🤷‍♂️ Like, those guys are great and all, but if they're not gonna commit to them fully, then why bother trading for new players?! 🤔 It's like the team is just winging it... 😅
