A woman in Richmond, Texas was hospitalized after a verbal spat escalated into gunfire on Sunday morning, according to police reports.
The incident began at around 1:15 a.m. when officers responded to a call about a possible shooting in the 300 block of Damon Street. Upon arrival, they spoke with a woman who claimed another person had been shot. Police said that investigation revealed a verbal argument turned physical, with both parties reportedly mentioning guns.
The victim was found with non-life-threatening injuries on the right side of her head and was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Katy for treatment. Authorities stated that the victim is now in stable condition.
