WWE SmackDown Results Dec. 5, 2025: Last Time Is Now Final And More

🤯 Gunther's win is defo not what I expected from that Last Time is Now Tournament finale! 🤔 LA Knight got robbed, fam! 😡 He was the clear underdog, but still brought his A-game and put up a fight against the champ. I'm still trying to wrap my head around why Gunther needed this win so badly... it just doesn't add up.

I'm low-key hyped for the main event showdown with John Cena tho! 😃 That's gonna be EPIC, but I need some convincing that Knight wasn't ready for a title shot just yet. WWE loves to play the underdog card and make fans question their loyalty, but let's see if Knight can turn things around.

I'm also loving Ilja Dragunov's rise in NXT 🤩 and the potential women's tag-team title showdown with Alexa Bliss & Kairi Sane... that's got me intrigued! Oba Femi vs Ricky Saints is gonna be a tough one to call, but I've got my eye on it. The seeds are definitely being planted for some exciting storylines down the line 💥

🤔 I'm kinda salty about LA Knight losing that tournament finals match. He was totally due for a win considering all the hype around him 🤘. Now, with Gunther getting set to take on John Cena, I'm curious to see if Knight can bounce back and prove he's more than just a talented wrestler 👊. WWE always likes to shake things up, but this feels like they're playing with fire by leaving Knight hanging 🚒. Will the fans come through for him or will his momentum fizzle out? Only time will tell 💥

omg i cant even right now gunther's win over LA Knight was SO unexpected!! 🤯 i mean, knight was supposed to take that title, but gunther came out on top in the end and its gonna be EPIC to see him go up against john cena at saturday nights main event!!! 💥 i've been re-watching all the matches leading up to this one and ilja dragunov's win over carmelo hayes has got me SO hyped for their nxt clash!! 🤸‍♂️ alexa bliss defeating kairi sane was also a great move, it sets up that women's tag-team title showdown and i am HERE. FOR. IT!!! 💪 what do u guys think? should knight be upset or are we just gonna rally behind him for the epic gunther vs cena match?? 🤔

OMG, Gunther just became the king of kings... or at least that's what WWE wants us to think 🤣. I mean, come on, did we really need another winner in this tournament? It was like they took all the extra cash from Knight and just gave it to Gunther instead of giving someone else a chance. And now we gotta deal with John Cena coming out of nowhere to take down our new champ? This is gonna be good... or at least that's what I keep telling myself 😂. On a more serious note, has WWE ever considered putting some actual thought into their booking decisions? Just saying 🤷‍♂️

I'm still trying to wrap my head around Gunther's win over LA Knight 🤯. I mean, I get why WWE wanted to set up this huge matchup with John Cena, but did they really have to go with the underdog? It just feels like another case of the WWE playing with fans' emotions 😒. And what's up with all these booking decisions that leave us questioning the logic behind them 🤔? I'm actually kinda rooting for LA Knight now, I wish they'd get some momentum back 💪. The rest of the episode was pretty entertaining though, love how Ilja Dragunov and Carmelo Hayes are setting up a good rivalry 🔥. Bring on that women's tag-team title match! 🎉 Can't wait to see what happens with Jade Cargill and her potential faction 👀
