Zohran Mamdani allies launch group to harness grassroots energy of his mayoral campaign

I'm kinda worried about this new nonprofit organization "Our Time" and how it's gonna affect the city... I mean, I get that they wanna build support for Mamdani's policies, but all these loopholes with tax-exempt status and whatnot got me thinking... is this just another way for his allies to pull strings behind the scenes? 🤔 And what's up with the logo and branding being super similar to his campaign materials? It just feels a bit too convenient. Still, I guess it's good that they're planning door-knocking events and volunteer recruitment, maybe we'll actually see some positive change in the city... for now though, gotta keep an eye on this one 👀
 
🤔 This is so sketchy! Like, what even is the point of a 501c4 if you're not gonna disclose who's funding it? It just feels like another way for Zohran to get rich off the people he's supposed to be serving. And 15,000 volunteers to Albany? That sounds like some seriously paid-for activism to me 😒
